About the Market

5 Star Swap Mart consists of multiple merchants under one roof selling a wide selection of products and services. We offer a unique shopping experience unlike malls or name stores, and our market is much more than a traditional flea market. Our diverse and multi-merchant atmosphere allows an exciting day out with the family. There is something for everyone within our hundreds of stores. We offer two restaurants, a bar and lounge to relax in, and fun for everyone from contests, giveaways, and entertainment.

Merchants offer values of 10%-70% off regular retail prices. Our customers have come to expect bargain pricing so you must have exceptional values.

Pricing begins for as little as $25 daily. There are several levels of pricing depending upon space and location. We have space available for Full time Merchants (OPEN every day except Tuesday) as well as Part time Merchants (OPEN only for the Weekends-Friday-Sunday).

If you are interested in space, you must first fill out an application. Once approved, we will look at the space available that we believe will be the most successful area for your business. We can offer Booths, Kiosks, Retail store fronts, Pushcarts, and Restaurant opportunities. We grant you a license for the particular classification of products you are selling. Retail sales tax ID # from the State of Illinois is required.

To secure space, you must provide a reserve which is equivalent to 4 weeks rent. There is also an additional fee of $75 for a Certificate of Occupancy license granted by the Village of Villa Park, and a new Merchant processing fee of $150. (Both of these fees are non refundable). The 4 weeks reserve may be used as your last 4 weeks rent in the Market if you should decide to terminate your license. Rent for your space is billed weekly, and rent is due every Friday.
